A new interactive terrain optimization tool - Grading Optimization for Civil 3D, which was only available in beta - is now available in Civil 3D 2022. Autodesk Grading Optimization is an interactive tool that simplifies profiling of various land plots, as well as the terrain around structures. It contains optimization algorithms that smooth surfaces taking into account the dependencies imposed by the user.
